Brand Identity: Canary Floral

In 2024, I was incredibly fortunate to work for a handful of intensely creative, inspiring people that make up our wedding floral community here in Ohio. After the completion of each branding project, I am energized for more projects like these.

Through these intimate projects, I have learned that florists are some of the most hard-working, organized, and creative people out there.  Getting to create for them is such a gift!

One of these crazy talanted florist-humans is Kristen of Canary Floral (formerly Yellow Canary) in Northern Kentucky. Kristen and I got connected via IG and immediately hit it off over the shared connection of creative business ownership. When she shared her vision for her brand and the things she felt passionate about, (and the paint points of her current branding), I couldn't help but be immediately inspired and excited to dive in on conceptualizing and bringing to life her refreshed brand and new name, Canary Floral.

Kristen talked a lot about what inspires her - from fine artists, to interiors, to color palettes, to culture. The inspiration for her own work became mine. The infusion of meaningful elements into her branding opened up a new opportunity for her to connect with her ideal clients on a deeper level. Ultimately, this is my goal for each and every one of my clients - to provide them with visuals that allow them to deeply connect with -  and speak directly to - their target audience.

Getting the opportunity to work with a variety of Wedding Florists on their logo and branding projects has taught me so much, especially about the unique set of needs that florists have, both from a branding perspective, and, from a product based perspective. Please stay tuned for more branded products from Canary Floral - coming soon!

Until next time,
